Payment

Payment

When a campaign opens, this is where contribution becomes action

CAS-UK payments are not random collections and they are not donations in disguise. Each payment is tied to a real campaign, a real member or group record, and a clear obligation to help a bereaved family. The journey starts with the right portal, shows you what is due, and then hands you to a secure payment method to finish the story properly.

Choose your payment path

Most people do not need technical instructions. They need the right door. If you are paying for yourself, enter through the member portal. If you are paying on behalf of a registered group, use the Group Admin route so the contribution lands against the correct members and campaign.

For individual members

Pay your own campaign contribution

Sign in to your member account, open the live campaign on your dashboard, confirm the amount due, then choose the payment option available to you.

For Group Admins

Pay on behalf of your group

Sign in as a Group Admin when you are settling a group campaign, checking member lines, or making sure one payment reflects the whole group correctly.

How the journey usually unfolds

Step 1

Open the right campaign

Your dashboard shows the live campaign, the person or family being supported, and the period during which payment is expected.

Step 2

Review the amount before you pay

CAS-UK shows your contribution and, where applicable, any provider fees before you leave the platform so there are no surprises at the final button.

Step 3

Complete payment and keep the confirmation

Once the provider confirms your payment, your campaign record updates and the contribution joins the wider pool going to the bereaved family at campaign close.

Payment methods you may see

The page only shows methods that are currently enabled for that journey. Depending on your campaign and the system configuration, you may see bank transfer through Open Banking, PayPal, debit or credit card, wallet, or mobile-money options such as Dohone or ViaziPay.

That matters because availability is practical, not personal. If one option is missing on the day, it usually means the campaign is offering a different secure route rather than blocking you specifically.

Important note

A campaign contribution is different from a public donation. If you want to settle an obligation linked to an active bereavement campaign, always use the member or Group Admin route above so the payment lands in the right ledger.

Stuck before or after payment?

Sometimes the hardest part is not paying, but knowing whether the payment has been matched properly. If a button fails, a receipt looks wrong, or your contribution still appears open after a refresh, do not keep retrying blindly. Keep the gateway confirmation, note the time, and contact support so the team can reconcile the official payment record.

Every completed contribution helps turn sympathy into practical support for a grieving family.
