Donation and contribution terms explained clearly

CAS-UK operates three distinct payment pathways in code and in practice. Choosing the correct path ensures contributions are posted to the right records and beneficiaries.

Three contribution pathways

Pathway Who uses it Route and flow Expected outcome
Member campaign levy Individual member account holders /members/login then campaign contribution screens Contribution tracked against member campaign status
Group contribution payment Authorised Group Admin /ga/login then GA campaign contribution view Group contribution recorded with member-level allocation rows
Voluntary donation Supporters and members choosing to donate /donations/donate public donation form and redirect Operational-support donation acknowledgement flow

Member terms

Use member-authenticated campaign route for required levies. Public donation does not substitute campaign responsibility.

Member login

Group Admin terms

Group payments must be processed from GA campaign screens to preserve group contribution audit trail.

Group Admin login

Donation terms

Public donations are processed with selected gateway and fee rules, then redirected to donation thank-you pages.
